Olivier Radresa

Olivier Radresa has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and research industries. Olivier is currently the Sr Vice President and Head of Nephrology at Evotec since August 2020. Prior to this, they were the Head of Drug Discovery at EPICS Therapeutics from November 2017 to December 2019. Olivier also served as the Program Manager for Metabolic Diseases at Centre universitaire de santé McGill et IR-CUSM | McGill University Health Centre and RI-MUHC from October 2017 to May 2018. Earlier in their career, Radresa held positions as a Senior Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from April 2015 to June 2017 and as a Research Associate at McGill University from March 2014 to May 2015. Olivier founded O.R.B.I.T. Bioassay Integration and Technologies in September 2012, where they worked on chronic pain and cardiovascular research. Radresa also worked as a Research Scientist at AstraZeneca from January 2007 to September 2012, specializing in chronic and inflammatory pain. Olivier started their career as a Post-doc Scientist in the Pain & Alzheimer group at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson from December 2003 to December 2006. Radresa obtained their research experience as a Research Scientist at Université Libre de Bruxelles from September 2001 to December 2002, working on a BIA-ATR project.

Olivier Radresa obtained a Bio-Engineer degree in Biochemistry from Université libre de Bruxelles, which they attended from 1992 to 1997. Olivier later pursued a PhD in Biophysics and Biochemistry at the same university, completing it from 1997 to 2001.
