Alex Seabright

Research Scientist at Evox Therapeutics

Alex Seabright is a Research Scientist at Evox Therapeutics Ltd since January 2022, specializing in the design and analysis of in vivo studies related to skeletal muscle-organ crosstalk. Previously, Alex held the Wellcome Trust Institutional Strategic Support Fund Research Fellowship at the University of Birmingham from November 2020 to January 2022, where responsibilities included investigating exosomal release during exercise and its effects on distal organs. Additionally, Alex served as a Research Associate, providing expertise in western blotting for skeletal muscle tissue from human clinical trials and contributing to three upcoming manuscripts. Alex holds a PhD in Molecular Physiology & Cell Signalling, a Master’s in Musculoskeletal Ageing and Health, and a Bachelor’s in Sport and Exercise Sciences, all from the University of Birmingham.
