Drayton Taylor

Drayton Taylor has an extensive work history spanning various industries and roles. Currently, they hold the position of Manager, Infrastructure & Adoption at EVPassport, a position they started in April 2023. Prior to this, from October 2022 to April 2023, they served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO at EVPassport.

Before joining EVPassport, Drayton worked at Newlab as a Program Manager - Innovation Studios from January 2021 to October 2022. In this role, they implemented innovation programs for a diverse range of stakeholders and managed the operations, budget, and strategy of multiple innovation studios.

From July 2020 to January 2021, Drayton worked at General Motors as a Program Manager - Accessory Innovation, where they led the planning and development of highly profitable Accessory Portfolios. Prior to this role, they served as a Product Manager - Tech Incubator & Startup Accelerator at General Motors from August 2018 to July 2020.

In 2020, Drayton also held positions at ParkStash as a Growth Product Manager, where they orchestrated a partnership with the largest car show in the world, and at FedTech as a Startup Consultant, where they commercialized deep tech across various national labs.

In addition to their experiences in the automotive and tech industries, Drayton also founded Outlit Inc, a student-led startup, where they guided the company through the RAMP Accelerator and successfully scaled the user base.

Furthermore, they have held positions at UnitedHealth Group as a Scrum Master + UX Engineer, PowerHub Systems as a Software Engineer, NASA Glenn Research Center as an Innovation Lead, and Nike as a Coach.

Throughout their career, Drayton has demonstrated their ability to drive innovation, manage programs, and lead teams in achieving company objectives.

Drayton Taylor's education history shows that in 2010, they attended the American Community School of Abu Dhabi and obtained a High School Diploma in 2014. Following this, they enrolled at Virginia Tech from 2014 to 2018, completing their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. In 2022, Drayton participated in the Executive Education Certificate Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Mastering Design Thinking" from Emeritus in December 2022.
