Michael Yeats

Michael Yeats joined EVRAZ in 2022 to lead operations across the Canadian business unit with accountability for safety, production, quality, and financial performance while championing continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Additionally, an area of focus for Yeats is working with Canadian stakeholders to position EVRAZ to participate in today’s market, as well as future, evolving market opportunities.

Yeats joins EVRAZ with more than 20 years of diverse industry experience and has expertise in manufacturing operations, engineering & technology development, product management, and composite materials technology. Most recently, he held the position of vice president of global operations at Shawcor.

A professional engineer, Yeats graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He also holds a black belt in lean six sigma.
