Chris Aytug

Chris Aytug has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. Chris began their career in 1988 as a Market Research Analyst and Research Associate at GlaxoSmithKline. In 1996, they became a Product Manager at GlaxoSmithKline, where they were responsible for forecasting, market research, creating brand strategy, wholesaler contracting, professional programs & conventions, training sales representatives, and more for two multi-million dollar Oncology and Respiratory drugs. Chris also worked in oncology, respiratory and medical center sales for 8 years. In 2008, Chris became the National Marketing and Sales Director for Florida Biologix, a University-affiliated contract manufacturing facility for biopharmaceutical biologic (parenteral) drugs. In 2012, they joined ECIR Medical Communications as a Senior Program Manager, where they managed a variety of projects, advisory boards and other medical communications activities for Pharma company clients. In 2015, they became the Director of Marketing and Customer Service at Auxthera, where they were the Chief Marketer for an Animal Health Product start-up with a novel, vet-prescribed, canine weight loss product. In 2017, they joined OPIE Software and Gainesville Prosthetics as a Project Manager for the CEO. Currently, Chris is the Director of Business Development at Evren Technologies.

Chris Aytug obtained a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Duke University between 1983 and 1987. Chris then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business between 1992 and 1994.
