Jean-Luc Sonnet has a strong background in project management and technical roles. Jean-Luc started their career in 1996 as an Analyst Developer at FICS and later worked as a Project Leader at S1 Corporation. From 2001 to 2002, they served as a Project Leader at Indigo Software, where they were responsible for managing key applications and providing pre-sales support. Jean-Luc then joined Ariane II as a Project Leader consultant before joining ALTEN BELGIUM in 2003 as a Technical Market Responsible. At ALTEN BELGIUM, they led projects for various operators. Jean-Luc later worked at Alcatel-Lucent as a Project Manager, leading projects related to online charging platforms for Nextel Corporate Mexico, Peru, and Chile. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a System Information Program Manager at CMI Cockerill Maintenance & Ingénierie. Currently, they hold the position of Engineering Manager at EVS Broadcast Equipment, starting in 2018.
Jean-Luc Sonnet attended the Université catholique de Louvain from 1989 to 1995. During this time, they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Electronics and Telecommunications.
