Don M. Jones

Principal at EwingCole

Don Jones is senior architect, designer and project manager. During his 28 years with EwingCole, he has worked in every market sector the company serves, including healthcare, science and technology, cultural facilities, and sports and entertainment. He values his relationships with colleagues at EwingCole and his work with clients as his contributions to the firm’s growth and reputation.

Don, a LEED AP with BD+C specialty, has also served as Director of Sustainable Design at EwingCole, and with a multidisciplinary team of design professionals called Thrive@EC, helps coordinate the work of over 100 accredited sustainable designers. The goal of the effort is the continuing improvement of our buildings’ environmental quality and energy performance.

Don is a registered architect in eight states and the District of Columbia. He is an adjunct Professor of Architecture at Drexel University, where he leads a thesis studio. He holds Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
