Jos Meerkerk

Jos Meerkerk has extensive work experience in various technology-related roles. Jos is currently working at Exact as a Technology Director, overseeing all technology operations and leading operational activities. Prior to this, they held the position of Development Manager at Exact.

Before joining Exact, Jos worked at Accountancy Gemak & Software Gemak as the Head of Engineering and Manager Engineering. Jos was responsible for engineering and development activities during their tenure.

Jos also gained valuable experience at Unit4, where they served as Manager Engineering and Technical Architect. Jos was responsible for bookkeeping solutions and product development, primarily focusing on the SME market. Additionally, they worked as a Software Developer and Certified Scrum Master at Unit4.

Jos has also worked as a Freelance Developer at Meerkerk ICT Solutions and co-founded Yosi Business Solutions. Jos started their career at TeamSoft Groep as a Software Developer, gaining experience in application development across various sectors.

Prior to that, Jos worked at Punch Telematix Nederland B.V. and Industrial Control Systems as a Software Developer, specializing in Progress development.

Jos Meerkerk earned a degree in Information & Communication Technology (Ing.) from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2005. In 2014, they obtained a certification as a Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance. Jos also received training in Scrum from Prowareness in 2017 and Xebia in 2014. Additionally, in 2010, they attended 4DotNet for C# .Net studies. Prior to these, they completed HAVO (higher general continued education) from De Lage Waard from 1993 to 1998. Jos also attended Wilhelmina School Hardinxveld-Giessendam from 1984 to 1993.
