Shahin Zarghami

Shahin Zarghami has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Shahin started their career at Rowzaneh as an IT Administrator, where they were responsible for network and web portal administration. During this time, they also translated two books from English to Persian. Shahin then worked at Dehkhoda Encyclopedia Institute as an Application Developer, where they developed applications. After that, they joined Pouyesh Afzar as an ISP Administrator, managing the Internet service provider.

Shahin's next role was at the Art Academy of Iran as a Webmaster, where they designed several web applications for thousands of artworks. Shahin then moved to Multimedia University and worked as a Lead System Designer, responsible for designing a large open source Student Information System integrated with banking systems.

In 2005, Shahin joined Sharif University of Technology as a Lead System Designer, where they worked on designing a large open source Student Information System in collaboration with Malaysia. Shahin was involved in creating web applications that utilized Java smart cards.

In 2008, Shahin worked as a Researcher at KTH, where they designed a distributed recommendation engine to monitor visitors to museums across Europe. Shahin utilized technologies such as web services, data mining, and recommendation systems.

In 2009, Shahin joined the University of Twente as a PhD researcher. In collaboration with IBM, they designed a flexible service provisioning platform in the healthcare domain. This platform utilized web services and various tools like BPM modeling, business rule management, and IBM Websphere.

In 2013, Shahin joined Accenture as a Lead Technology Architect, working in the Emerging Technologies and Innovations group. Shahin led technology architecture assessment projects for a Dutch bank and technology architecture improvement projects for a telecommunications company. Shahin also exceeded expectations in all performance assessment criteria.

Finally, Shahin joined Exact in 2015, where they held various roles including Principal Solutions Architect and Principal Product Manager. Details of their responsibilities in these roles are not provided.

Shahin Zarghami holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Systems from the University of Twente, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Software Engineering of Distributed Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009. Shahin also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, completing it from 1996 to 2000. Shahin began their education with a Diploma in Mathematics from Mofid, which they attained from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, Shahin Zarghami holds certifications as a Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft, which they obtained in October 2023, and a PRINCE2 Foundation certification from OGC, which they obtained in 2013.
