Rajish Shakya

Rajish Shakya has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Rajish started their career at Ontrack in 2007, where they worked as a Software Engineer. In this role, they were involved in projects such as data warehouse modernization, data warehousing, and application development. Rajish utilized various technologies such as Impala, Hive, Spark, Avro, C#, .NET, and Microsoft SQL Server. Rajish also worked with big data technologies like Hadoop, HBase, and Cloudera distribution. Rajish was responsible for performance tuning queries, implementing real-time data freshness/quality indicators, and monitoring data latency.

In 2016, Rajish joined UnitedHealth Group as a Senior Software Developer. During their tenure, they contributed to the development and implementation of software solutions.

Currently, Rajish works at Exactuals as a Lead Software Engineer. Rajish leads a distributed team and successfully manages projects involving large volumes of data. Rajish is proficient in implementing REST APIs using Open API, Spring Boot, and integrating with various AWS services such as S3, Step Functions, and SQS. Rajish also collaborates closely with clients, stakeholders, and product teams, ensuring effective communication and meeting project requirements.

Rajish Shakya pursued their education in the field of computer science. Rajish completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from St. Cloud State University, from the year 2003 to 2007. Later, they went on to earn a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Minnesota, specializing in the field of software, between 2008 and 2010.
