Ankush Chandra M.D.

Ankush Chandra, MD, MS, is a PGY-4 Neurosurgery Resident at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston since June 2020. In addition, Ankush Chandra serves as an HHMI Medical Research Fellow at UCSF, selected under the mentorship of Dr. Manish K. Experience includes research fellowships at UCSF and Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, focusing on glioblastoma resistance mechanisms and ErbB targeted therapies, respectively. Contributions to the American Association of Neurological Surgeons as a medical student representative highlight significant involvement in professional organizations. Ankush Chandra holds an MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine and an MS in Medical Sciences from Boston University, where foundational education in Neuroscience and Biology was also achieved.
