Seth Calkins

Seth Calkins, CSP, is a seasoned professional in safety and health with extensive experience across various roles in the industry. Currently serving as a Professional Safety Consultant at Xcel Energy since 2021, Seth supports the Capital Projects group by providing vital safety and health services. Prior to this, Seth held the position of President at Elite Safety Solutions from 2015 to 2023, where skills in safety system development, leadership development, and risk assessment were emphasized. Further expertise was gained as an OSHA instructor at the Rocky Mountain Education Center from 2017 to 2021. Seth's earlier role as Safety Team Leader at Suncor Energy involved managing a team and budget while overseeing safety policies, procedures, and emergency response programs. Seth’s career also includes experience as a Compliance Officer at OSHA, conducting safety and health inspections. Seth holds two Master's degrees in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from Colorado State University.
