Sean LeCave has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Sean started their career at Displays and Technologies Inc. in 1989, where they held various positions until 1999. Sean then moved on to GN Nettest, formerly known as PK Technology and Photon Kinetics, where they worked as a Quality Assurance Manager from 1999 to 2000.

In 2001, Sean joined Newport Corporation, where they held multiple roles. Sean served as a Senior Quality Engineer from 2001 to 2002, followed by a role as the Quality Manager for the APAS Division in 2002-2003. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Senior Manager in Quality at Newport, responsible for managing the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management system.

Sean continued their career progression at Newport, becoming a Senior Manager in 2006-2009, where they focused on the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management system. Sean then became a Senior Operations Manager, overseeing the catalog components business. Sean later transitioned to the role of Senior Manager, Engineering Programs, managing the development and execution of engineering programs.

In 2013, Sean became the Director of Quality Assurance & Photo-Contamination, leading the Quality Assurance and Photo-Contamination functions for the Integrated Solutions Business in Irvine, CA, and Wuxi, China. In 2016, they joined MKS Instruments as the Director of Quality Engineering, responsible for the Quality Assurance and Reliability functions.

Their most recent position is with Telescent Inc., where they worked as the Director of Quality from 2018 to 2021. In this role, Sean was responsible for managing the Quality Management System, continuously improving customer satisfaction, and supporting an operational excellence culture.

Currently, Sean LeCave is serving as the Director of Strategic Contamination Control at Excelitas Technologies Corp.

Sean LeCave has a diverse education history, with a focus on statistics and various technical skills. Sean attended California State University-Dominguez Hills in 2008 to study Statistics. In 2007, they completed a course in Fundamentals of Photo-Contamination Control for Lithographic Tools at SPIE. In 2006, they gained knowledge in Essentials of Industrial Security Management at the Department of Defense and became a Facility Security Officer at the Department of Defense in Baltimore, Maryland. Sean also received certifications in ISO 9001:2000 Certified Internal Auditor from L. Buck Consulting, Mintab for Windows from Minitab, and Polarizing Optics and Fundamentals of Lasers from SPIE. Sean also has a Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification from Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in 2005. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Supplier Management from the American Society for Quality in 2000. Sean earned an Associates Degree from Clark College in 1999 and Santa Rosa Junior College in 1991. Sean completed high school at Santa Rosa High School in 1989. Furthermore, Sean has obtained additional certifications such as Certificate of Completion in Six Sigma Black Belt (Body of Knowledge) from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2015, SAP Materials Management - Mastery Level Workshop from Klee Associates Inc. in 2011, Facility Security Officer Program Management from the United States, Defense Security Service in 2006, and Six Sigma, Greenbelt from Lockheed Martin Missles and Fire Control in 2005.
