Zak Mahshie

Zak Mahshie is currently the General Counsel & Compliance Officer at Excella. Prior to this, they worked as an attorney at the Federal Election Commission from August 2005 to March 2007, where they were responsible for evaluating reported violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act and recommending courses of action to the Commission.

From August 1997 to August 2002, Zak worked in various formative roles at great organizations, including as a software engineer and project manager. During this time, they led multiple software development and systems integration projects to success for commercial and public government-sponsored clients.

Zak is a highly skilled and experienced attorney and technology professional who has a proven track record of success in both the public and private sectors. Zak is a dedicated advocate for compliance and excellence, and is committed to ensuring that Excella meets the highest standards of ethical and legal conduct.

Zak Mahshie attended George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School, where they obtained their JD. Zak also attended Boston College for their Arts & Sciences degree in Computer Science. Lastly, they attended FHS.
