Steve Nims

Steve Nims has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve is currently serving as the Vice President of Modern Delivery at Excellus BCBS since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Solu Technology Partners from August 2021 to January 2022. Steve spent a significant part of their career at Thomson Reuters, where they held the positions of Technology Director and Engineering Manager, among others, from July 2011 to July 2021. Before that, they worked at ThomsonReuters as a Lead Developer, PMO Office, and Technical Project Manager in the Legal Business Unit. Steve also has experience as an Engineering Manager at Harris Interactive, where they led a team in developing a global online Market Research project. Steve'scareer began at Xerox Corporation, where they worked as an Engineering Manager, contributing to the development of electronic commerce applications and an internal document library. Steve also served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, where they gained expertise in network administration and implementing electronic security policies.

Steve Nims completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy, graduating in 1986. In 1981-1982, they attended the Naval Academy Prep School. Later, they pursued an MBA in Marketing and MIS from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, earning their degree in 1997. Steve also holds certifications in CSM from the Scrum Alliance and PMP from the Project Management Institute, though the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
