Thomas Rash

Thomas Rash has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Thomas started their career as a Risk Analyst at Fidelity Information Services from 2005 to 2007. Thomas then worked at Mergent as the Manager of Product Development from 2007 to 2011, where they focused on project management and creating efficient data models.

In 2011, Thomas joined HealthNow New York Inc. as a Risk Adjustment Analyst 2, leading the Medicare Risk Revenue Control Improvement project and overseeing reporting activities. Thomas was later promoted to Manager, Risk Revenue Analytics, where they implemented a Risk Revenue Analytics solution and led the development of risk modeling tools. Thomas worked at HealthNow New York Inc. until 2016.

At Fidelis Care, Thomas served as the Manager Informatics - QARR from 2016 to 2018. Thomas managed staff, created reporting for QARR and STAR measures, and collaborated on HEDIS IT build and provider reporting.

Currently, Thomas is working at Excellus BCBS since 2018. Thomas initially served as the Manager, Risk Adjustment Analytics, and later transitioned to the role of Manager, Risk Adjustment Operations. In their current role as Director Quality Measurement, Thomas is responsible for implementing quality measurement strategies and collaborating with various divisions to support program measurement and implementation. Thomas is also an expert in analyzing trends and factors influencing healthcare quality measurement.

Thomas Rash earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management from the State University of New York at Buffalo - School of Management in 2003. Thomas went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2005.
