Jeffrey L. has over 18 years of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Jeffrey began their career in 2004 as a Client Systems Support Analyst and College Student for the United States Air Force. Jeffrey then served as a Security Operations Manager from 2004-2018, where they were responsible for incident response to security incidents, Asset Management, and processing/implementing firewall rule changes. In 2018, they became a Cybersecurity Specialist at Agile Defense, Inc., managing the cybersecurity requirements for multiple DoD connected and disconnected systems. In 2021, they joined Netizen Corporation as a Sr. Information System Security Engineer, where they served as Cybersecurity Team Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME). Currently, they are a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Excentium, Inc.

Jeffrey L. completed an Associate's degree in Electrical Systems from the Community College of the Air Force in 2010. Jeffrey then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2012, followed by a Bachelor's degree in General Science from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2013. Finally, they earned a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2015. Jeffrey L. also holds several certifications, including a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from the EC-Council in 2019, a Security+ CE from CompTIA in 2018, a CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) from CompTIA in 2018, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2020, an Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) from (ISC)² in 2021, and an Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) from (ISC)² in 2022.
