Riza Berkan

Riza Berkan is the President, Founder, and Chief Scientist at exClone, Inc. Riza has over 25 years of experience in the field of artificial intelligence and search systems. Prior to their current position, they were the Founder and CEO of hakia, a semantic search technology company. Riza has also worked as a contractor, subcontractor, and project manager at the Y-12 National Security Complex, where they were involved in AI projects. In addition, they have worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory on the Advanced Control Project for nuclear reactors and operations.

Riza Berkan has a Ph.D in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Riza also has a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Her Bachelor's degree is in Physics from Hacettepe University.
