Global Security Awareness Lead at Exclusive Networks

Marelize du Toit has a range of experience in the field of information management and collaboration. Marelize began their career at De Beers as an Information Management Specialist and later transitioned to the role of Knowledge Management Specialist. At De Beers, they were responsible for capturing and contextualizing conversations, compiling documents, and publishing knowledge assets on the group intranet.

Marelize then joined Anglo American as a Publisher, where they were accountable for the redesign of the SharePoint portal landing page and updating content. Marelize also led a migration project to a new platform.

Afterwards, Marelize worked at Tracker as a Developer/Webmaster. In this role, they designed and developed intranet and customer-facing websites using the SharePoint platform. The intranet evolved into a critical business process management tool with customizations for each division.

Marelize then joined SOAS University of London as a Senior SharePoint Developer. In this role, they provided critical SharePoint developments and supported and enhanced intranet portals for internal and external user groups by delivering innovative solutions.

Currently, Marelize is working at Exclusive Networks. Marelize started as a Global Collaboration Lead, managing the SharePoint Intranet and M365 collaboration suite for over 30 countries. Marelize also took the lead on business process automation projects and managed the day-to-day activities of the Content Creation Team.

Later, they transitioned to the role of Global Security Awareness Lead. In this position, they are responsible for managing the security awareness program in multiple regions, including monthly training and quarterly phishing simulations.

Throughout their career, Marelize has demonstrated expertise in SharePoint, intranet design, project management, and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.

Marelize du Toit attended Nelson Mandela University from 1999 to 2001, but their degree and field of study are unknown. In 2018, they obtained the ITIL® Foundation certification from PeopleCert.
