Betty LaMarr is an experienced professional in non-profit leadership and organizational development, currently serving as a Non-Profit Leadership Consultant at the Executive Service Corps of Southern California since October 2022. Previously, Betty held the role of Executive Coach at Steve Heckler Associates and served as Principal Consultant at NADISA ASSOCIATES. As the Founder and CEO of EmpowTheir Institute, Betty dedicated efforts to reducing high school dropout rates among marginalized teen girls through training and mentorship. Executive Service Corps of Southern California empowers nonprofits to achieve their missions through affordable coaching and consulting by trained executive-level volunteers. ESC is powered by a group of 100+ dedicated consultants who volunteer their time, experience and expertise to help our nonprofit clients work through their toughest challenges and reach their highest potential. Our volunteer-based model allows us to offer professional, customized consulting and training to nonprofits with budgets ranging from $40,000 to $120 million, for a fraction of the cost charged by a for-profit firm. You will get extensive training and support from our professional staff and your peers, along with a deep sense of fulfillment in using your leadership experience to serve our community through transformative consultations. Becoming a Consultant: 3 Traits Required 1. Executive Level Experience - You have attained a senior management position in your profession with significant leadership experience 2. Availability - You have a flexible schedule and the ability to commit at least 15-20 hours per month and travel during business hours to client locations, attend training courses, and peform long-term projects for maximum impact 3.
