Bernadette Lara

Bernadette Lara has a diverse and extensive work experience in the human resources field. Bernadette is currently working as the Vice President of Human Resources Operations at Exelixis since February 2021. Previously, they held executive roles at Portola Pharmaceuticals, where they served as the Executive Director and later as the Head of Global Total Rewards from July 2019 to December 2020.

Prior to that, they worked at Rubrik, Inc. as the Senior Director of Total Rewards from October 2018 to July 2019. Bernadette played a crucial role in developing and implementing total rewards programs to attract and retain top talent in the company.

Additionally, Bernadette has also worked at Splunk from September 2013 to September 2018, where they held various roles such as Senior Director of Global Compensation, Director of Global Compensation, and Director of Compensation and HRIS.

Bernadette Lara earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from UC Santa Barbara from 1996 to 2000.
