Sandra Wiejowski

Sandra Wiejowski has a strong background in medical affairs and pharmaceuticals, with over 30 years of experience. Sandra is currently the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Exelixis, a position they have held since February 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of Medical Affairs at Exelixis from 2014 to 2020. Sandra also held the role of Executive Director at Exelixis from 2014 to 2015. Before joining Exelixis, Sandra worked at Abbott/AbbVie from 2011 to 2013 as the Senior Director of Global Medical Affairs. Sandra was responsible for leading a 40-member Global Medical Review Department, overseeing the review and approval of promotional materials and ensuring compliance with corporate integrity agreements. From 2003 to 2011, Sandra worked as the Director of Medical Affairs at Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Sandra also has experience at Novartis, Pharmacia, SmithKline Beecham, Hoffmann-La Roche, the University of Michigan Medical Center, and Wayne State University School of Medicine in various roles related to drug information, product services, and research assistance.

Sandra Wiejowski completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wayne State University in the years 1982 to 1987. Sandra then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the same university from 1989 to 1992. Following this, they obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Clinical Pharmacy from Wayne State University during the years 1992 to 1993. Finally, they completed a residency program in Drug Information Practice at Roche Labs from 1994 to 1995.
