David Velazquez

David Velazquez has been in the energy industry for over 15 years. David started their career at Conectiv Energy, where they led and directed commercial and operational activities for the competitive merchant energy subsidiary of Pepco Holdings, Inc. David then went on to become the President and CEO of Pepco Holdings from March 2009 to January 2022. During their time at Pepco Holdings, they were responsible for leading the company's overall performance associated with service reliability, customer satisfaction, financial management, and regulatory and external affairs. In January of 2022, David became the EVP of Utility Operations at Exelon.

David Velazquez earned a BS in engineering from Widener University.
