Patrick Thorpe

Patrick Thorpe has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry. Patrick began their career in 1995 as a Chartered Accountant for Clifford Locke Delaney. In 1999, they moved to PwC New York as a Senior Associate. In 2002, they became a Partner at Delaney Locke & Thorpe. In 2013, they were a Founding Partner at Searing Point. In 2015, they became the CEO of Searing Point Wealth Management. In 2021, they took on the role of Strategic Advisor for Davenham switchgear. In 2022, they became Interim CFO and Company Secretary for Exergyn, as well as Chairperson for Talent Suite Boutique.

Patrick Thorpe's education history includes a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (BAAF) from Dublin City University, which they completed between 1992 and 1995. Patrick also completed a professional qualification with Chartered Accountants Ireland between 1995 and 1999, focusing on Accounting, Assurance, Tax, Corporate Finance, and Consulting. In 2014, they completed an MBA with Distinction from Trinity College Dublin, with a focus on Leadership, Strategy, Marketing, and HR. More recently, they have been completing a Diploma / Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, which they are expected to finish in 2021.
