Carel van Heerden is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in IT operations and security within the financial technology sector. Currently serving as Head of Operations at ExiPay Technologies since July 2022, Carel leads cross-functional teams, driving strategic initiatives and implementing scalable solutions. Previous roles include IT Security and Operations Specialist at ono//connect, where Carel focused on cloud solutions and information security, and Information Technology Operations Manager at Prodigy Finance, ensuring seamless service delivery. Carel has also held positions as IT Infrastructure Operations Manager at thumbzup and Group IT Manager at tradebridge, where Carel developed IT roadmaps and optimized production networks.
