William Koster

William Koster has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for nearly 50 years. William began their career in 1971 at Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Senior Vice-President at The Squibb Institute. In 2001, they became President and CEO of Neurogen Corporation, a public biotechnology company. In 2008, they founded Northern Pilot Company, LLC, a private consulting company providing strategic guidance to the pharmaceutical industry. From 2013 to 2016, they served as Director and Chairman of Vedantra Pharmaceuticals Inc., which was later renamed Elicio Therapeutics. William was a Director of Luc Therapeutics Inc., which was later merged with Ataxion to form Cadent Therapeutics. From 2015 to 2021, they were a Director and Chairman of SciFluor Life Sciences, LLC, which was later renamed OcuTerra Therapeutics. William currently serves as Director and Vice-Chairman of OcuTerra Therapeutics.

William Koster completed their B.A. in Chemistry from Colby College in 1966 and then went on to pursue a Ph.D in Chemistry from Tufts University, which they completed in 1972.
