Emma Ewins has over 25 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Emma began their career in 1997 as a Quality Assurance at Lonza: A Global Leader In Life Sciences. Emma then moved to UCB in 2003 as a Biological Manufacturing Development Co-Ordinator, where they co-ordinated the quality and manufacturing aspects of early clinical through to commercial products. In 2005, they returned to Lonza as a Manufacturing Project Lead, where they were responsible for the manufacturing aspects of products from cell line development to Quality release of GMP products. In 2006, they joined UCB as an Outsourced Manufacturing Manager, where they led the outsourced manufacture of biological products. In 2009, they joined BTG plc as a VP Quality and Technical Services, Director Business Development, CMC Manufacturing, Site Director, Director of Manufacturing, and Director Process Sciences. In 2020, they moved to NSF International - Health Sciences as an Executive Director, NSF, Pharmaceutical Services, EMEA. Emma currently works as the Head of Production at eXmoor Pharma Concepts Ltd since 2023.
Emma Ewins attended The University of Manchester from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with Biotechnology.
