Joan Ogara

Joan Ogara has a diverse work experience spanning from 2016 to the present. Joan is currently employed at Exness as a Retail Account Manager, specifically focusing on Francophone East Africa. Prior to this, they held the same role at Exness for Francophone West Africa from July 2021 to December 2021.

Before joining Exness, Joan worked at Tamarind Management Ltd from 2016 to 2020 in various roles. Joan started as a Treasury Analyst from December 2016 to March 2018, then transitioned to the role of Inter-Company Analyst from March 2018 to March 2019. Finally, they served as an Accounts Payable Accountant from March 2019 to November 2020.

Furthermore, Joan gained experience as an Accounts Assistant (Pro Bono) at Slum Child Foundation from January 2016 to November 2016. Additionally, during the first half of 2016, they worked as a Brand Ambassador for ACCA.

Through their work experience, Joan has developed skills in account management, finance analysis, treasury functions, and accounts payable.

Joan Ogara began their education in 2007 at Sacho High School, where they completed their high school education from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they enrolled at Kenyatta University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Finance until 2015. Following their graduation, Joan attended Alliance Francaise de Nairobi in 2016, where they obtained a Diploma in French with a focus on Level B2 proficiency.
