Julia Shestova

Julia Shestova has a diverse work experience in the field of product design. Julia started their career at Tinkoff in 2017, where they worked as a Product Designer. During their time there, they focused on designing a new product for Premium clients, including a card, account, and promo page. Julia also revamped the user profile to enhance the user experience.

In 2018, Julia joined Exness as a Senior Product Designer. Julia'smain responsibility was designing the Exness Social Trading app, which generated over $12 million annually. Julia'swork included implementing UX research in the design process and conducting A/B tests to optimize conversion rates.

Later on, they were promoted to the role of Lead Product Designer at Exness. In this position, Julia designed a Portfolio Management platform for B2B clients. This platform allowed portfolio managers to create funds, manage investors, track performance, and receive performance fees. Julia secured CEO approval for their visual design approach and built a foundation for a design system within the product. Julia also mentored and guided a team of two designers for successful project outcomes.

Throughout their career, Julia has conducted numerous UX research sessions and customer development activities to ensure user-centric design decisions.

Julia Shestova attended St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications named after prof. M.A. Bonch-Bruevich from 2003 to 2008. During their time there, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.

In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications. In May 2023, they completed the "Data-driven Product Management Simulator" program offered by GoPractice, Inc. Julia also participated in workshops at UXLx: User Experience Lisbon in May 2023. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in "Product Psychology Masterclass" from Growth.Design in April 2023.
