Ahmed Essam has a diverse work experience in project management and localization. Ahmed started their career in 2011 as a Localization Project Coordinator at FutureTrans, where they eventually became a Project Manager. Ahmed managed high-profile clients such as Google and Microsoft, assigning tasks to resources, tracking activities, and ensuring quality assurance. In 2015, Ahmed worked as a Project Coordinator at Advansory - AmcArthur's, specializing in consultancy and market research. Ahmed then moved on to BayanTech in 2016 as a Senior Localization Project Manager, handling clients like Google, Uber, and Netflix. Ahmed led a team of project coordinators, conducted performance evaluations, and recommended new candidates to join the company. Ahmed joined Nagwa in 2017 as a Project Manager, coordinating with various teams for the development and localization of e-learning platforms. Currently, Ahmed is working at Exness since 2018, first as a Project Manager, then as the Head of the Localization Department, overseeing project managers, coordinators, QA checkers, testers, and copywriters. At Exness, they are responsible for process development, budgeting, KPIs, and workflow efficiency. In June 2022, Ahmed was promoted to the role of Head of Marketing Operations & Planning.
Ahmed Essam completed their education at Helwan University Cairo, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Information System from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Port-Said Language school from 2005 to 2007, where they completed their high school education with an IGCSE qualification.
In terms of additional certifications, Ahmed obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice in June 2019. Ahmed also completed a course in Localization for Developers from Lynda.com in September 2017. Additionally, they obtained the PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in June 2019.
