Valentin Agapitov

Valentin Agapitov has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and quality assurance. Valentin started their career as a Junior Programmer C++ at Radio Engineering Institute in 2014. Afterwards, they worked at Positive Technologies as a QA Test Engineer, where they developed an internal program for automating business processes and analyzing scanning reports of web applications.

In 2017, Valentin joined GasInformService as a Junior Programmer C#, before moving on to Kaspersky as a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test. At Kaspersky, they were responsible for requirements analysis, test case development, and automation of end-to-end tests. Valentin also supported and maintained the Kaspersky Anti Target Attack Platform and developed integration tests between KATA and Kaspersky Server.

Afterwards, Valentin joined Dell EMC as a Software Development Engineer - QA, where they contributed to software testing and quality assurance processes. Valentin then transitioned to Exness, starting as a Senior QA Automation Engineer before being promoted to QA Lead. In these roles, they refactored test frameworks, implemented regression testing, and integrated tests in GitlabCI with Allure TestOps.

Throughout their career, Valentin has demonstrated a strong ability to analyze test results, develop automation frameworks, and maintain and support existing systems. Their work experience showcases their expertise in software development, quality assurance, and test automation.

Valentin Agapitov obtained a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" in the years 2011 to 2017. Additionally, they have earned certifications in ISTQB - CTFL from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in January 2022, and in "Zero Security: A" - initial penetration testing course from PENTESTIT in October 2014.
