Vijetha Nagendra Prakash

Vijetha Nagendra Prakash has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Vijetha is currently working as a Principal Research Associate at Exo Therapeutics since September 2022, after previously holding the position of Senior Research Associate from August 2021 to September 2022. Before joining Exo Therapeutics, they worked at Editas Medicine as a Research Associate II from September 2019 to August 2021, where they were involved in the pre-clinical development of CRISPR-based medicines, performing cellular screening assays and gene editing. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at MD Anderson Cancer Center from June 2018 to December 2018, where they conducted high-throughput screening assays and established proof-of-concept for Protein-Protein Interaction using TR-FRET. Vijetha also gained experience in market research and analysis as a Student Trainee at Texas A&M Office of Technology Commercialization from January 2018 to May 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Marketing Intern at Medinfi Healthcare from February 2017 to June 2017, where they conducted data-driven market research and contributed to content writing for digital health platforms. Vijetha started their career as a Scientist at Achira Labs Pvt. Ltd. from August 2014 to September 2016, where they developed immunoassays on a microfluidic platform and trained team members in manufacturing and quality control. Prior to that, they had an internship at Achira Labs Pvt. Ltd. from October 2013 to May 2014, where they contributed to the development of assays for a novel method in assisted reproductive techniques.

Vijetha Nagendra Prakash completed a Master of Biotechnology program at Texas A&M University from 2017 to 2019. They also obtained a Graduate Certificate from Mays Business School in Entrepreneurship during the same period. Prior to that, Vijetha pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Medical Biotechnology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 2012 to 2014. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry, Genetics, and Biotechnology from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, which they completed from 2009 to 2012.
