Sergi Martinez

Sergi Martinez has worked in the IT security field since 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Research Engineer at the IIIA-CSIC. In 2011, they moved to the Departament d'Enginyeria de la Informació i les Comunicacions (dEIC - UAB) as a Research Engineer. In 2013, they completed an Internship at Télécom SudParis & Orange Labs (France Télécom). In 2014, they worked as an IT Security Consultant at EY. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Senior IT Security Analyst at Wise Security Global. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Security Researcher at AttackIQ. Since 2020, they have been working as a Technical Team Lead and Security Researcher at Exodus Intelligence, leading and participating in a team of researchers analyzing publicly disclosed vulnerabilities, exploit them, and writing actionable technical reports about them including mitigation guidance, as well as performing 0day research on commonly used software.

Sergi Martinez studied Computer Science at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2006 to 2011. Sergi then obtained a Master in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision at the same university from 2011 to 2012. In 2012 to 2013, they completed an Interuniversitary master in security of communication and infomation technologies (MISTIC) at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Sergi also holds a First Certificate Examination from University Of Cambrindge - ESOL Examinations.
