Alexandre Gol I Mestre has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and space. Alexandre has recently worked as a Satellite Operations Engineer at Exotrail since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Spacecraft Operations & Flight Dynamics Engineer at LuxSpace from 2022 to 2023. In 2022, Alexandre was a Master Thesis Student at Airbus Defence and Space, where they worked on the development of a Space Surveillance and Tracking tool for Space Traffic Management. Before that, they gained experience as a Software Engineer at LambdaLoopers, where they planned, developed, reviewed, and documented software solutions for corporate clients. In 2020, Alexandre also interned as a Data Scientist at IFAE, where they tested and validated the ND280 upgrade for the Nobel Prize-winning T2K project in Japan.

Alexandre Gol I Mestre completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics at Universitat de Barcelona from 2017 to 2021. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Astronautics and Space Engineering at Cranfield University, where they studied from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Alexandre obtained various certifications. Alexandre completed a Space Debris Training Course offered by the European Space Agency (ESA) in May 2022. In December 2019, they obtained a certification as a Monitor d'activitats d'educació en el lleure infantil i juvenil from the Generalitat de Catalunya. Alexandre also holds a certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI, obtained in September 2019. In December 2018, they acquired a driving license from Dirección General de Tráfico. Alexandre has been certified as an Alpine Ski Technician by SAFE Education since October 2018. Alexandre also obtained an Advanced Certificate in English (C1) from the University of Cambridge in April 2017, and a Toefl certification from The TOEFL® test in December 2019.
