Product Manager - Electric Propulsion Systems at Exotrail

Maieul Girard has worked in a variety of roles related to electric propulsion systems. In 2016, they worked as a Scientific Animator at Centre d'astronomie. In 2018, they were a Thermal Engineer in Space Propulsion Intern at Exotrail, where they optimised the thermal behaviour of a miniaturized Hall-Effect thruster for satellites up to 150kg, with 3D simulation software. In 2019, they were a Mission Analysis Engineer Intern at Thales Alenia Space and a Project Support Electric Propulsion at Neutron Star Systems. In 2020, they were an Electric Propulsion Engineer at both Armélio - EnvirProd and Safran. Currently, they are a Product Manager - Electric Propulsion Systems at Exotrail.

Maieul Girard began their education in 2014 at the Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile, where they earned a BSc and MSc in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering. In 2016 and 2017, they attended the Pierre and Marie Curie University to study Physics. In 2018, they completed an exchange semester at Purdue University, earning a BSc in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, and later that year they completed an ISAE Exchange - MSc at ISAE-SUPAERO in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.
