Varun Gyanchandani

Varun Gyanchandani is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in blockchain and AI. Varun started their career in 2011 as an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. Varun then joined Deloitte Consulting in 2014 as a Business Technology Analyst before being promoted to Consultant in 2016, where they continued until 2021. In early 2021, they joined Wow Labz as a Lead for Blockchain and AI before being promoted to Senior Manager for the same field by the start of 2022. Later in 2022, they joined GIANT Protocol as a Senior Engineering Manager, a role which they held until early 2023. Varun is currently the Head of Technology at expand.network since March 2023.

Varun Gyanchandani completed their Master of Technology (MTech) in Machine Intelligence from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication technology between 2012-2014. Before that, they attended Holy Family Convent School in Bhopal, where they did not obtain a degree or study a specific field. Varun also holds several certifications, including AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as Kubernetes: Your First Project, Learning Docker, and Sustainable Software Architecture from LinkedIn, which they obtained in 2023 and 2020.
