Rui Aguiar is the Cofounder/CTO of Expedock, a company digitizing the industry of global trade. Starting the business in a dorm room, Rui grew it to millions in revenue while working with top supply chain companies. Rui also works as an investor/advisor in various startups. With a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science - AI and Systems from Stanford University, Rui has experience in research, software engineering, and business development roles at companies such as Rockset, Stripe, Airbnb, and Facebook. Rui has worked on projects involving healthcare and AI, data analytics for social impact, and improving daycare center matching for parents.
