Emily Garton

Emily Garton is a seasoned user experience professional with extensive experience in various roles, including Senior UX Manager at Expel since April 2018 and Design Ops Chapter Co-lead at DesignOps Assembly since September 2023. Garton has held multiple positions at Expel, contributing significantly to collaboration among stakeholders and enhancing user experiences through the integration of new technologies. Previous roles include Senior User Experience Designer at SecureAuth Corporation and FireEye, Inc., and Interaction Designer at Inmedius, where technical expertise in web applications and interaction design was demonstrated. Additionally, Garton served as an Adjunct Professor at West Virginia University, providing education in graphic design while holding various instructional and design roles within the university. Garton holds an MFA in Communication/Graphic Design from West Virginia University.
