Harpreet Singh

Harpreet Singh has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1998, they worked as a Director at Citigroup, where they had technology administration responsibilities for Cybic, a derivatives exchange. From 2001 to 2002, they served as the Head of the Project Management Office at FX Alliance, LLC, overseeing relationships with key banks and establishing risk management functions.

From 2003 to 2012, Harpreet was the Chief Technology Officer at Creative Stride, Inc., where they focused on utilizing data as a strategic asset to drive revenue, develop new products, and improve decision-making. Harpreet also led efforts related to big data, analytics, data security, and compliance.

In 2011, Harpreet joined Academic Room as the Chief Analytics Officer, contributing to the development of a multidisciplinary knowledge platform that connects academia and industry. Harpreet played a key role in building a content curation engine using natural language processing and machine learning.

In 2013, they founded the Experfy Institute, which incubated Experfy, a Future of Work platform for building on-demand pools of talent. Experfy differentiates itself by having subject matter experts vet candidates before they are interviewed by clients.

In 2018, Harpreet founded Expercoin, a protocol for creating decentralized marketplace economies called Republics. The protocol allows enterprises to white label and monetize Republics and provides developers the opportunity to build and monetize their own Dapps on top of the Expercoin Protocol.

In 2019, they started hosting the Masters of Blockchain podcast, where they interview leading figures in the blockchain industry. Harpreet launched the Future of Work Pioneers podcast in 2020, focusing on the ways in which the Future of Work impacts online education, technology, corporate cultures, and labor markets.

Throughout their career, Harpreet has demonstrated expertise in technology, project management, data analytics, and entrepreneurship.

Harpreet Singh completed their education at three different institutions. From 1992 to 1997, they attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Systems Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at Harvard University, where they pursued a Master's degree in an unspecified field of study from 2003 to 2005. Finally, they continued their education at Harvard University and obtained a PhD degree from 2005 to 2012; however, the specific field of study for their PhD is not provided.
