Leslie Keener

Head of Community Strategy at ExpertVoice at ExpertVoice

Leslie Keener has extensive work experience, starting with their role as Assistant Coach for Women's Soccer at the University of Utah from 2005 to 2009. In this position, they managed a significant annual program budget, organized fundraising efforts, aided in recruitment, and handled various administrative tasks.

Afterward, Leslie transitioned to the Ragnar Relay Series, where they held multiple roles from 2010 to 2020. Initially, they served as a Senior Race Director, focusing on strategic and community relations, as well as new race development. Leslie was responsible for marketing, partnerships, logistics, and the overall success of 200-mile theme races. Notably, they successfully grew participation by 30% in the first year.

Within the Ragnar Relay Series, Leslie also held the position of Senior Market Development Manager, acting as an advocate for five event markets and overseeing strategic marketing efforts. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Grassroots Marketing, creating and managing a grassroots marketing channel and product representative program.

In 2017, Leslie founded the Moose on the Loose Kids Trail Running Series. As the Founder and Race Director, they took charge of organizing and overseeing the series.

Most recently, Leslie joined ExpertVoice in 2020. Leslie first served as the Head of Grassroots Marketing, where they developed and managed grassroots marketing initiatives and protocols. Subsequently, they assumed the role of Head of Community Strategy, leading strategic planning and execution.

Furthermore, Leslie currently holds the position of Event Director at PARK CITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION, where they manage the annual Running with Ed relay-style race, a fundraiser for Park City teachers, students, and schools.

Leslie Keener completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Washington. This educational achievement took place from 1997 to 2000.
