Shannon May

Shannon May's work experience includes a variety of roles in marketing and consulting. Shannon worked at ExpertVoice, starting as a Marketing Manager in August 2018 and later becoming a Product Marketing Manager in January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Marketing Consultant under their own brand, ShannonAMay.com, from October 2015 to August 2018. Shannon also had a freelance role as an Account Management Consultant at Global Prairie from July 2017 to December 2017. Shannon has experience in the advertising industry, working at Grey Group as a Senior Account Executive and an Account Executive from August 2015 to October 2015 and April 2014 to July 2015, respectively. Shannon also had earlier roles at Grey Group as an Assistant Account Executive and an Activation & PR Intern. Shannon's earlier work experience includes roles such as a Social Media Community Manager at Twin America LLC and a Social Media Intern at CollegeLifestyles.org. Shannon also had experience in event coordination as a Freelance Event Coordinator and in promotions as a Scoop Shop Promotions Intern/Shift Leader at Ben & Jerry's. Shannon started their career as a Marketing Intern at Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. in January 2009.

Shannon May completed their undergraduate education from 2006 to 2010 at the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Mass Communications. In 2018, they obtained additional education at DeutscheAkademie in Berlin, Germany, where they completed German language courses from A1.2 to 2.2. In terms of certifications, Shannon obtained the Pendo Essentials certification from Pendo.io in January 2021 and the ExpertVoice Advocacy Marketing Best Practices Certification from ExpertVoice in July 2019.
