Sadique Akhtar

Sadique Akhtar, PMP, is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in leading significant projects within the telecommunications and digital sectors. Currently serving as the PMO Governance Lead at Expo 2020 Dubai since February 2018, Sadique acts as the projects spokesperson for all internal and external STEERCO meetings. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Project Manager at Schneider Electric from January 2016 to January 2018 and various project management positions at Cognizant and Caritor Solutions India Pvt Ltd from January 2004 to December 2015 and September 1999 to December 2003, respectively. Sadique holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, a Doctor of Philosophy in Urdu Language and Literature from Magadh University, and a Master of Business Administration in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Punjab Technical University.
