Sarah Rafiullah

Sarah Rafiullah has a diverse work experience with roles in various organizations. Sarah started their career in 2014 as an Academic Tutor for University Students, providing academic assistance. In 2015, they worked as a Clinical Dietetic Trainee at Rashid Hospital- Dubai Health Authority. Sarah continued their training in the field of dietetics in 2016 as a Clinical Dietetic Trainee at the Ministry of Health - UAE. In the same year, they joined the United Arab Emirates University as a Research Assistant. Additionally, they participated as an Apprentice in Community Engagement at Expo 2020 Dubai from August 2016 to May 2017. Sarah then transitioned to the role of an Associate in School and University Engagement at Expo 2020 Dubai from January to December 2017. Sarah progressed within the organization, taking on the role of a Senior Associate in the School Program from January to December 2018. Sarah further advanced to become the Manager of the School Program at Expo 2020 Dubai from January 2019 to January 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of School Operations in the Chief Operations Office at Expo 2020 Dubai, starting in February 2021.

Sarah Rafiullah earned a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sharjah, which they attended from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at John Fraser Secondary School in Mississauga, Canada, receiving their High School Diploma in 2011. In addition to their formal education, Sarah obtained certifications in Customer Discovery and Microeconomics I: Supply and Demand from the Quantic School of Business and Technology in May 2020.
