Farooq Siddiqui

Farooq Siddiqui, Ph.D., MASME, currently serves as a Senior Consultant at Exponent since September 2021, having previously held the position of Consultant. Siddiqui earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Nanotechnology from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where research contributions included seawater desalination and earth-air heat exchangers as part of funded projects. Prior to this, Siddiqui was a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Islamic University in Madinah, participating in research committees and external advisory roles. Additional experience includes research assistant roles at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals focused on renewable energy, a design internship at KSB Pumps Company Limited, and an operational internship at AES, where expertise in thermodynamic analysis and simulation was applied. Educational qualifications also include a Master's in Mechanical Engineering (Thermo-Fluids) and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
