Karen Sibley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology strategy, governance, and program management. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology Strategy, Performance and Governance at Export Development Canada since January 2015, Karen leads IT strategy and enterprise architecture while overseeing a significant special initiative. Previously, Karen held roles as Vice President of Special Programs and Director of Risk Strategy and Governance, where responsibilities included managing risk maturity and launching Canada's first Development Finance Institution, FinDev Canada. Before joining EDC, Karen held various senior management and project management positions in the Government of Canada and the private sector. Karen holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Information Systems from Carleton University.
