Raed Alghamdi

Raed Alghamdi has extensive work experience in engineering and project management. Raed is currently employed as a Senior Project Engineer at the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority, a role they started in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Jacobs, where they held various positions. From January 2022 to May 2022, they worked as a Project Engineer, and from August 2021 to January 2022, they were an Electrical Engineer III. Raed also served as an Electrical Engineer IV at Jacobs from November 2018 to August 2021. Before joining Jacobs, Raed Alghamdi worked as an Engineering Trainee at Saudi Electricity Company from July 2017 to September 2017.

Raed Alghamdi attended King AbdulAziz University from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have earned several certifications in various fields. In October 2017, they obtained a certification in Power plants and Electrical generations from King AbdulAziz University. In May 2017, they earned a certification in Introduction to substation components, also from King AbdulAziz University. In June 2016, they completed the Technical skills program for graduated engineers, offered by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. Finally, in March 2018, they obtained a certification in Fundamentals of photovoltaic PV solar energy from Udemy Online.
