Margo Mosley

Margo Mosley has extensive work experience in various roles related to health, safety, and environment. Margo is currently the Vice President of Facilities & Operations at Exscientia, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they were the Executive Director of Health, Safety & Environment at Exscientia from December 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Exscientia, Margo worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals for a significant period. Margo held several positions at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, including Director of EHS & Sustainability from February 2020 to November 2021, Associate Director of EHS & Sustainability from February 2017 to February 2020, Senior Manager of EH&S from February 2015 to February 2017, and EHS Manager from November 2011 to February 2015.

Earlier in their career, Margo worked at the University of Oxford as an Area Safety Officer from July 2008 to November 2011. Margo also worked at UCB Pharma as an HS&E Adviser from August 2005 to June 2008 and as an HS&E Co-ordinator from November 2004 to August 2005. Additionally, Margo served as a Laboratory Manager & HS&E Co-ordinator at Celltech R&D Ltd (formerly OGS Ltd) from August 2003 to November 2004.

Overall, Margo Mosley has gained significant experience and expertise in health, safety, and environment throughout their career, holding various leadership positions and contributing to the success of multiple organizations.

Margo Mosley obtained a Diploma in Health & Safety Management from Oxford Brookes University in 2006-2007. In 2003, they also obtained a General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH. Margo holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Sunderland, completing their studies from 1991 to 1995.

Margo has also obtained various certifications throughout their career, including being a member of The Institute of Leadership in 2022. Margo obtained the "Safety for Executives and Directors" certification from IOSH in 2021. Margo also has certifications in "Staying healthy and safe at work during the COVID-19 pandemic" from the World Health Organization (2021), "Behavioural Safety Leadership" (2019), "Engagement for Safety" (2019), "Mental Health First Aid" from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England (2018), and the "Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management" from IEMA (2012). Additionally, Margo is a member of IIRSM since 2012.
