Matt Hodgskiss

Matt Hodgskiss has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Matt is currently working at Exscientia as an Associate Director of Scientific Data Engineering. Before that, they worked at Medicines Discovery Catapult, where they held the positions of Head of Data Science and Lead Data Scientist. Prior to that, they worked at the Health and Safety Laboratory as a Technical Team Lead Data Science and Software, as well as a Data Scientist. Matt started their career as a GIS Software Developer at Stockport Council and worked as a GIS Analyst at Macclesfield Borough Council.

Matt Hodgskiss attended Durham University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a BSc in Natural Science, specializing in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Matt later pursued an MSc in Science and Engineering in Medicine and Biology at the University of Manchester from 2004 to 2005.
