Vadiraj Kurdekar

Vadiraj Kurdekar is an experienced professional in the field of computational drug design and research, currently serving as a Senior Computational Drug Designer at Exscientia since December 2021. Prior to this role, Vadiraj was a Senior Research Investigator at Biocon Bristol Myers Squibb Research & Development Center from September 2019 to November 2021, and a Research Associate at Newcastle University from September 2018 to August 2019. Vadiraj also held positions as a Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist in Computational Chemistry at the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (DBT-inStem) between August 2014 and August 2018, and as a Research Scholar in the Ph.D. program at Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani from August 2008 to July 2014. Vadiraj obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medicinal Chemistry from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, between 2008 and 2015, and an M. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Government College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru, India, from 2006 to 2008.
