Laura-Marie Töpfer, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer and Area Leader for Western Europe at Microsoft. Laura-Marie has a vast experience in the field of sustainable finance and has held various advisory and leadership positions in organizations such as World Economic Forum, Banco Santander, and The Global Education & Leadership Foundation. Laura-Marie has undertaken significant responsibilities in developing partnerships, driving business models, and spearheading initiatives related to sustainability, ESG measurement, and technology. Laura-Marie's academic background includes a PhD in Sustainable Finance from the University of Oxford, as well as visiting scholar positions at Stanford University and Tsinghua University.
